On the morning of August 18th, 2020, Van Lang Environmental Company held the Groundbreaking Ceremony of the Project: "Upgrading and renovating the wastewater treatment plant of the Seafood Processing Factory, increasing the capacity from 1,500 m3/day to 2,900 m3/day" in Dong Thap province.
The Groundbreaking Ceremony was attended by representatives of the Investor - a large seafood company in Dong Thap province, specializing in manufacturing and processing products from aquatic products - seafood, and representatives of Van Lang Environmental Company.
The main sources of aquatic wastewater are wastewater from production, industrial wastewater and domestic wastewater. Seafood processing wastewater has high concentrations of COD, BOD5, suspended solids, total nitrogen and phosphorus.
Vietnam is one of the leading seafood exporters in the world, the rapid growth of the industry leads to the increase of wastewater from seafood processing, causing a significant impact on the environment, so the wastewater treatment from seafood processing sector plays an important and necessary role in protecting the environment.
Aquatic wastewater treatment plant with a total capacity of 2,900 m3/day, was designed with modern treatment technology, specialized for wastewater in the aquatic sector.
We undertake that treated wastewater meets the wastewater discharge standards according to the current regulations of aquatic wastewater and according to the contract signed with the Investor.
