Rotary drum screen, which is designed especially for seperating solid – liquid mixture, is a self-cleaning drum screen. It’s an economical way to remove suspended solid in different industrial progresses, such as food processing, chemical and wastewater treatment or pharmaceutical industries.

Operation principles
Wastewater flows into the drum from the port of the drum and is distributed evenly on the screen. Solid waste is intercept on the grid and removed by normal or hard rubbery blade. The inner spray bar cleans the drum screen constantly. The whole process is clear and no smell.

How to operate Rotary drum Screen Equipment

Water flows through a U shape, where reduced flow’s speed. Water, with suspended solid, follows the baffle and goes up and distributed evenly on the lenghth of cylinder. The stainless steel screen can treat grease efficiently, seperated matter without jamming up. Wastewater with natural impacts flows through the screen and creates a strongly reverse reaction so the surface of the screen is always cleaned. Solid matter keeping on the screen is removed by a stretch blade or rubber round plate. Inner spraying system is for screen cleaning. Spray bar is designed accrording to the cylinder surface to ensure the optimal cleaning efficiency.
