Pressure filter is an euipment for premilinary impurity components separation in order to purify the water or wastewater.

Operation principles
Water or wastewater after premilinary treatment is transported to the pressure filter to be finely treated. Insoluble and soluble solids are retained when water passes through filter material layers, the water becomes cleaner after passing through the system, depends on the size as well as types of filtered materials that give out differentcapablity to treat each types of watsewater. After a treatment cycle, the residue on the surface of filtered material on the top layers is removed by backwash method, residue will be rip up, the collision and friction of filtered material particles help them self-cleaning, contaminated water is removed by separate discharge lines.
