2.1. Chemicals wastewater that treat polymer anion, polymer cation
A white, odorless, highly hygroscopic granular water-soluble compound used to increase the viscosity to assist the flocculation. When adding Polymer to water, broken colloidal particles will stick together into small cotton, then form into larger clusters.
2.2 Wastewater treatment chemical: Al2(SO4)3 – Phèn Nhôm
Mechanism of aluminum alum flocculation: When aluminum alum is used as a flocculation agent, a hydrolysis reaction will occur.
Notices when using aluminum alum: the optimal pH is 5.5 - 7.5; The temperature of water is about 20 - 40 0 C. Besides, should pay attention to: ionic components in water, organic compounds, alum dosage.
2.3. Wastewater treatment chemical: Iron alum - Fe2(SO4)3.nH2O
Iron salts are not popular in Vietnam but very popular in industrialized countries. The chemistry of iron salts such as aluminum salts, when hydrolyzed, creates acidity. Hydrolyzed ferric alum is less affected by temperature. Optimal pH zone 5 - 9.
2.4. Wastewater treatment chemical: PAC - Poly Alumium Chloride
General formula of PAC is [Al2(OH)nCl6.nxH2O]m.
PACs usually has yellow color, are easily soluble in water, transparent, with a strong effect on hygroscopicity.
2.5. Wastewater treatment chemical: Decolorization chemicals
A polymeric polymer compound which is researched and produced for industrial applications generating colored wastewater, the form of a transparent solution. Chemical color reducing agent has another name: wastewater color treatment agent, Decoloring Agent, Decoloring Agent of textile dyeing ...
2.6. PH adjustment chemicals for wastewater treatment
pH affects a lot in biological treatment. Therefore, adjusting the pH to an appropriate level is necessary in the wastewater treatment process. PH adjustment is mainly the addition of an alkaline or acid solution. Common chemicals for pH adjustment are sodium hydroxide NaOH and H2SO4.

2.7. Wastewater treatment chemical: Hydro Peroxide H2O2
Hydrogen Peroxide has the chemical formula is H2O2, which is a transparent liquid, slightly more viscous than water, with strong oxidizing properties. As wastewater treatment chemicals, hydrogen peroxide is used in a number of processes to remove organic impurities. This is achieved by advanced oxidation, such as the Fenton reaction, which uses it to produce highly active hydroxyl radicals (-OH).
