Mechanism:

• The receiving compartment of the VS system has the function of stabilizing the influent and evenly distributing the solid deposite on the entire screen surface.
• The solids are brought to the sieve surface by overflow at the inlet and distributed over the entire surface area by conductive plate.
• The wastewater goes down into the drain compartment and flows out through the drain.
• Garbage is gathered on the top of the screen and is slowly moved to the discharge position to separate afterwards.
• The dripping flow at the bottom of the sieve creates favorable conditions to completely separate the wastewater and return it to the filter compartment.

How to operate rotary drum screen equipment

Water flows through a U-head box where the water speed is decreased. Water with suspended solids, flows along the bulkhead, then moving upward and is evenly distributed over the length of the cylindrical plate. The stainless steel mesh sheet can efficiently handle grease and discrete solids without jamming holes. The natural impact of wastewater running through the mesh which creates a strong reversed reaction that results in the continuous cleaning of the mesh surface Wastewater flows into the drum from the port of the drum and is distributed evenly on the screen. Solid waste is intercept on the grid and removed by normal or hard rubbery blade. The inner spray bar cleans the drum screen constantly.
