1. What is periodic environmemtal monitoring report?
This is a type of document which enterprises must conduct under the legislation during operational time.
Sources damage environment
Mitigation methods and negative impacts treatment which are being used and results of measurement, analysing and sampling periodically environmental parameters.
The main purpose is to track the monitoring parameters of each company and evaluate the impact of polluted source toward the environment, this helps each company prevents polluted problems, builts mitigation methods and comes up with suitable environmental treatment solutions.
3. Who needs to prepare periodic environmemtal monitoring report?
Including all business facilities, industrial park, residental areas, urban areas, shopping malls, workshops,… and they must have approval of Statement of Commitment to Environmental Protection; Environmental Protection Scheme; EIA. Business and production enterprises who went into operation must conduct periodic environmemtal monitoring report:
Once every three months, applied for facilities must be relocated due to causing pollution and facilities that pollutes environmemtal without completing remediation of pollution.
Once every six months, applied for facilities who don’t belong to the mentioned above cases (or accorrding to each local).

- Official letter 3105/TNMT-QLMT about guiding business, production, service facilies and business, production, service parks concentrate on conducting periodic environmental monitoring programs.
- Law on environmental protection 2005.
- Decree No. 29/2011/ND-CP dated April 18th, 2011 of the Government regulating strategic environmental assessment, environmental impact assessment, environmental protection commitment.
- Circular No. 26/2011/TT-BTNMT of the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment detailing a number of articles of Decree No. 29/2011/ND-CP on Strategic Environmental Assessment, environmental impact assessment, commitment to environmental protection.
