Sactioning establishments due to burn tons of untreated industrial waste
Tons of industrial wastes have been collected and dumped on dirt lot, after that, they were burned, causing environmental pollution.
On the afternoon of October 5th, Police Center for Environment Verification (PC49 – Police of Binh Duong Province) is completing the dossier about Handling of Administrative Violations on Mrs. Ha Huynh Thi (lives in Cu Chi District, HCMC) for improper disposal of untreated waste.
Local Police informed that, they had spotted a truck delivering over 01 tons of industrial waste towarded Dong Thanh Landfill, Tan Dong Hiep ward, Di An commune, Binh Duong Province.
Through investigation, the owner of that landfill is Mrs. Ha Huynh Thi, it contains many piles of various kinds of waste, approximately tens of tons.
The police identified that facilities of Mrs. Ha has operated since 2012 until now. The workers collected all kinds of industrial waste of companies and after dumped them on aboved landfill, the workers classify them.
The abundant ones which can be reused, she will put on for sale, waste will be burned at the landfill. At the time conducting examination, Mrs. Ha couldn’t show her business vertification, dossiers or contracts of collecting and transporting waste. The police has written up and demained her to collect the entire dumped waste and transfer them to the administration.
